Elite Yacht Charters caters to providing the ultimate superyacht experience. At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Coral Ocean was one of the wonders on the water. The Lürssen superyacht belongs to Ian Malouf.

Kelley Smitten, broker at Elite Yacht Charters, is no stranger to unchartered waters. Her industry experience spans over 30 years. She handles all facets of the trip, including price consulting, offers, negotiations and bespoke service. Coral Ocean can be chartered weekly for private vacations or events starting at $650,000 USD to $790,000 USD.

Coral Ocean is an iconic 73m (238ft) superyacht, built by Lürssen and designed by Jon Bannenberg. Formerly known as Coral Island, this is one of the yachts that changed superyacht design. Coral Ocean has recently undergone an extensive refit/rebuild, completed this year with no expense spared and no detail overlooked. Whether an intimate family charter or cruising with business colleagues or friends, Coral Ocean offers an unparalleled experience of elegance, class and sophistication on the water.

The owner’s suite offers a private infrared sauna and his and hers bathrooms. The yacht offers a total of 6 staterooms as well as a spa and full staff of 22 to cater to your every need, including a gourmet chef and an onboard masseuse.

Aft of the owner’s suite is a completely revitalized space that can host events of almost any format and size. Sliding glass provides protection from the wind and offers a dual indoor-outdoor experience, ideal for enjoying warm summer days and balmy evenings. With a total seating capacity of 30 people (14 in center and 8 on each side), this provides the full range of entertaining options including pre- and post-dinner areas to gather or relax. A full-serviced bar and on the opposite side is a full-service outdoor cookery with cabana style seating and adjustable tables that also convert to sun lounges.

As the largest deck on the yacht, the main deck boasts an impressive array of spaces that can be tailored for any private or public occasion. The exquisite dining room is capable of hosting 14 people and is complemented with an interior fit out designed so that your guests can savor the most elegant of dinner parties. The Main Salon, with its unique 6-meter-wide side opening door, provides the perfect space for either relaxing evenings or pre- and post-dinner cocktails.

These incredibly designed cabins with fully equipped amenities will ensure that everyone on board will experience the ultimate in style and comfort within their very own private sanctuary. On the lower deck, guests will find four generous bedrooms complete with king beds, each with its own luxurious ensuite. To cater for every combination of guests, one of the rooms can be converted into Hollywood singles.

Coral Ocean is also fully equipped to cater for all health and lifestyle needs. The main deck comes with its own indoor-outdoor gym, providing the perfect surrounds for any exercise session with the latest and greatest equipment. The opening sides allow you to exercise alongside breathtaking views and the water is so close that it will entice you to jump straight in after your workout. The spa area on the lower deck provides direct access to or from the water and features a peaceful and generous steam room fitted with tranquil mosaic tiles. The yacht also offers a wide array of watersports, including a 38-foot speedboat.

The yacht was delivered as Coral Island by Lürssen in 1994 and was one of the yard’s biggest projects at the time. Jon Bannenberg, often considered the godfather of modern yacht design, was responsible for the exterior profile. The yacht cruised privately for most of its life. It was then purchased as Coral Ocean by her owner, Ian Malouf, who embarked on a “no expense spared” refit.

Coral Ocean made her post-refit debut at the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix and is now available for Caribbean and Mediterranean charters with Elite Yacht Charters through eliteyacht.com or by emailing Kelley directly (kelley@eliteyacht.com).
