Friday, February 2
Among the key events this winter on Friday, February 2 is The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) Annual Pro-Am Tennis Tournament. The invitation-only affair hosts tennis tournaments and a charity gala as part of a multi-day event that combines the Milken Institute South Florida Dialogues with the charity. All proceeds from the PCF Pro-Am Tennis Tournament help fund PCF’s promising and innovative research efforts for the prevention, detection and treatment of prostate cancer, and to help extend and improve the lives of all cancer patients.

Tuesday, February 13
Another lovely day can be spent at the Palm Beach Hot Pink Luncheon on February 13 at The Breakers. This year’s event will honor Donna and Bill Acquavella with the Evelyn H. Lauder Humanitarian Award. A Fashion Presentation by Oscar de la Renta will be part of the proceedings and an important symposium and discussion will also take place with an introduction by Dr. Larry Norton, who is the BCRF Founding Scientific Director at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center. Dr. Judy Garber will moderate the meeting with featured panelists Dr. Ian Krop of Yale School of Medicine and Dr. Lori Pierce of the University of Michigan. The Palm Beach fundraiser has garnered millions since its inception, funding research grants in the areas of tumor biology, metastasis, heredity & ethnicity, survivorship, lifestyle, prevention and treatment.

Saturday, February 17
The Annual for Everglades Palm Beach benefit will take place on February 17. Hundreds of guests will gather at The Breakers for a night that will raise funds to support The Everglades Foundation, which works to restore and protect America’s Everglades. A special musical performance by Darius Rucker will take place plus a toast to Jimmy Buffett from Mac McAnally. The Everglades Foundation’s commitment to restore and protect has been driven by science since being founded in 1993 by two outdoor enthusiasts — the late George Barley and Paul Tudor Jones II. Today, the organization stands as a well-respected authoritative source for scientific research on the Everglades.

Perhaps the most stylish way to give back in Palm Beach will take place when the 25th Annual Old Bags Luncheon Silver Jubilee takes place to benefit the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County.
