Renowned restaurateur and chef Joshua Kessler has unveiled Bonito 47, a new kosher fine dining experience in the heart of Manhattan’s Theater District. Situated at 114 W 47th Street, this 7,000-square-foot restaurant promises to redefine the fine dining kosher landscape.

The grand debut of Bonito 47 was marked on Monday, June 3, with guests enjoying sparkling wine and delectable bites from its exceptional menu. This new venture, under the Barnea Group, signifies a further evolution in upscale kosher dining, continuing the legacy of Kessler’s acclaimed Barnea Bistro, which has already set new standards in kosher cuisine.

Bonito 47 blends the luxury of a traditional Japanese Omakase experience with the hallmarks of a classic American steakhouse, inviting guests to embark on a culinary journey like no other. Boasting the highest quality USDA Prime beef and fish flown in daily from Japan’s Tsukiji Market, Bonito 47 offers an unforgettable dining experience. The meticulously crafted nigiri, sushi rolls and a 10-course steak Omakase priced at $250 per person are all masterpieces of flavor and craftsmanship.
