Mixing Fall Tones with the Inez Aesthetic

Inez was founded in 2017 to transform our expectations of what contemporary heels can feel like without sacrificing aesthetics, construction or quality.

Developed with proprietary insoles that provide arch support and pressure distribution, all Inez heels are designed in New York and handcrafted by artisans in Spain.

Founder and Creative Director, Hannah Spinelli brings over 20 years of experience at top fashion houses and a refined, modern take on design. Her vision for Fall 24 is centered around updated pumps and new boot silhouettes. Slingbacks (Coco, Mia and Diana) and Mary Janes (Celine and Cleo) continue to be important and are offered in a wide assortment of toe shapes and heel heights. Ankle wrap details on pumps (such as Maya) feel especially new and offer a fresh open back alternative to a classic slingback style.

“The Inez woman is stylish and enjoys dressing up, so our boots always have a refined and elegant sensibility, even on styles with lower heel heights. We have a best-selling knee-high boot (Paloma) in our core collection that we offer in both regular and extended calf options. For fall 24 I’m excited to add more tall boot styles to our collection. The Sylvia has a structured shaft, classic pointed toe and 3.5” stiletto heel, while my personal favorite Belen has a natural slouch and features an elongated snip toe with a sculpted 2” heel,” Spinelli said.

Elevated materials are essential to the Inez aesthetic, as the design philosophy is rooted in clean lines and pure shapes that emphasize leather quality and finishing. Material highlights this season include high shine offerings like Italian patent leather, mirror metallics and a new sultry midnight abrasivato. Core materials feature supple, yet resilient, Italian calf as well as buttery Spanish nappa and refined velvety suede.

“For me fall tones are always focused on the mood of New York city as the leaves change and the city begins to bustle after the sleepiness of summer. There’s an emphasis on harvest colors like chestnut, burgundy, nutmeg and mocha that look amazing in statement boots. Since fall has a polished and put together atmosphere, it’s a great time to update heels in your work wardrobe with neutrals like camel, brown and black in sophisticated finishes,” Spinelli said. “Personally, I am loving Bronze metallic as a footwear trend this fall. We offer it in a sandal, a bootie and a tall boot. It’s great because it plays as both a metallic and a neutral and pairs well with black, navy and of course, brown. A bronze shoe is the answer to what to wear with a brown look this fall. It’s sultry, rich, warm and quietly sexy.”

“I think comfort is here to stay, but I don’t think comfort has to mean “casual.” I love that we bring the comfort experience into a category where it’s unexpected. Our customers can dress up and expect to feel at ease at the same time,” Spinelli said.

Sales have nearly doubled every year since Inez launched, so women are definitely responding to what they offer. Customers either already enjoy wearing heels and love the designs, for others the comfort features and width options are a complete game changer. “It’s incredibly exciting when we hear from women who had given up on wearing heels until they discovered Inez,” Spinelli said.
