The Perry Hotel Naples Opens

The Perry Hotel Naples, a 160-room boutique hotel in North Naples, Florida, has officially opened its doors, welcoming its first guests. This new venue comes in response to the increasing demand for upscale accommodations in Naples, a destination renowned for its pristine beaches, sophisticated shopping, luxury golf communities and vibrant cultural scene.

“We are thrilled to open The Perry Hotel Naples and welcome our first guests to experience our vision of elegance and hospitality,” said Michael Raymond, President of The Perry Hotel Naples. “Our team is dedicated to providing unparalleled service for each guest, ensuring the hotel becomes a standout destination on the Gulf Coast.”

Situated along the Cocohatchee River and designed by Casa Conde, the hotel incorporates local architecture and landscape elements, offering a modern, intimate connection to the outdoors. Concrete floors, exposed conduits, and steel structural accents pay homage to its industrial roots, while anchors and natural wood textures provide a nod to the area’s nautical charm. Brass detailing, warm ambient lighting, and richly toned woods have been introduced to elevate the aesthetic, creating an environment that feels both raw and refined. These rugged elements are softened by breezy fabrics, thoughtfully curated artwork and accessories that evoke the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast.

“We have long been excited about bringing this project to the Naples area, and now, as we open our doors, we couldn’t be happier to welcome the local community and guests from near and far to our new Perry-dise.” said Matthew Strunk, General Manager of The Perry Hotel Naples. “Every detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully designed, and our passionate team is committed to delivering memorable experiences that celebrate the beauty and spirit of Naples.”

The Lobby

Upon entry, the grand lobby of The Perry Hotel Naples greets guests with a striking solid black wood bench by Etiqueta Negra. This bold piece sets the tone for the space, drawing attention to its sleek, modern design. Just beyond the bench, guests’ eyes are drawn to a captivating art piece titled Florida Keys by UK-based artist Nadia Attura. This vibrant artwork creates a symbolic connection to the original Perry Hotel in Key West, infusing the lobby with a sense of place and history.

As they continue into the space, they encounter the centerpiece of the lobby’s furnishings: a Stephen Kenn sofa from the Inheritance Collection. Upholstered in vintage military tent canvas, this sofa embodies both comfort and a unique design narrative, inviting guests to sit and relax while taking in their surroundings. Looking up there is a dramatic cluster of Palindrome chandeliers by RBW serving as the lighting focal point. These chandeliers cast a warm, inviting glow over the room, their intricate design adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.

Scattered throughout the seating area are custom-designed oak coffee tables and Tito side tables with black stain, crafted by Labrica. These pieces not only provide functionality but also enhance the aesthetic of the lobby, blending seamlessly with the overall design.

Turning towards the coffee shop area, they see Labrica’s custom banquettes, tables, and cocktail chairs adorned with a bespoke flamingo fabric. This playful yet refined fabric adds a touch of whimsy to the space, inviting guests to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a light snack. The area is further enhanced by a handmade ceramic mosaic from American Restoration Tile, which adds texture and visual interest, and a salmon tile backsplash by Equipe Ceramicas for the back bar, providing a pop of color and a hint of artisanal charm.

Throughout the lobby, lighting fixtures by Visual Comfort and Worley’s Lighting are strategically placed to add warmth and sophistication. The combination of these design elements creates an environment that is both welcoming and luxurious, offering guests a memorable first impression as they begin their stay at The Perry Hotel Naples.

The accompanying desk chair, coffee table, nightstands, and lounge chairs, all meticulously crafted by Labrica, create a cohesive and stylish look. These elements blend modern design with classic materials, providing both functionality and elegance.

The lighting in the room, provided by Ashley Lighting, casts a warm and inviting glow, making the space feel cozy and welcoming. In some rooms, guests notice sleeper sofas by Bernhardt Furniture, upholstered in luxurious Maharam fabric. These versatile pieces offer additional comfort and can accommodate extra guests if needed.
