Gabriel & Co., the most trusted leader and award winning brand of the bridal and fashion fine jewelry world, was pleased to announce the GIA Gabriel Love Foundation Scholarship in Memory of the late Elias Gabriel. The announcement was made during the Luxury at JCK event in the Gabriel & Co. ballroom, where leadership from both Gabriel & Co. and GIA, the Gemological Institute of America, were in attendance.

Created by Gabriel & Co. founders Jack Gabriel and Dominick Gabriel, the scholarship honors their late father, Elias Gabriel, whose legacy of purpose-driven craftsmanship and community service continues to inspire the company’s mission.

“We are proud to honor our father’s legacy with this scholarship,” said Jack Gabriel, Co-Founder & CEO of Gabriel & Co. “Elias Gabriel was guided by values of integrity, excellence, and compassion. He instilled in us the belief that our fine jewelry should reflect authentic artistry, while also serving communities in need. This scholarship is an extension of that purpose.”

“Empowering the next generation of gem and jewelry professionals is a vital responsibility for everyone in our industry,” said Cathryn Ramirez, GIA Senior Vice President and Chief Learning Officer. “The generous effort by Gabriel & Co. in memory of their late father Elias Gabriel, will make a tangible difference by giving a deserving student the foundational start they need.”

Beginning with GIA’s Fall 2025 admissions cycle (applications open September 1st–30th), Gabriel & Co. will fund a $7,500 annual scholarship for students pursuing on-campus or online programs at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Eligible programs will begin between January 1st and June 30th of the following year in 2026.

The scholarship will support students who demonstrate a commitment to giving back. Preference will be given to those who clearly express how they plan to use their jewelry careers that include philanthropic efforts and how they would positively impact their communities.
