Bucatini Brings Elevated Italian Fine Dining and Design to Midtown Manhattan

Situated in one of New York City’s most iconic and highly trafficked areas, Bucatini’s location offers exceptional visibility with 35 feet of frontage and a commanding presence. The 3,996-square-foot ground level and an additional 2,000-square-foot mezzanine provide expansive, thoughtfully designed space to support a world-class dining experience. With high ceilings and abundant natural light, the restaurant promises both aesthetic appeal and operational excellence.

Bucatini’s kitchen will be helmed by Executive Chef Augusto “Guto” Ferreira, whose passion for Italian cuisine was fi rst ignited in his native Brazil in 2008. Chef Guto’s journey brought him through some of New York’s most respected Italian kitchens—including A Voce, Organika and La Carbonara—where he became known for his balance of creativity, discipline and soulful technique. The dining room will be run by Rafael Martinez, former manager of Il Gattopardo Group. His passion for hospitality, wine and fi ne dining emanates through the dining room.

  • Salmone in Crosta—Herb-crusted salmon, creamed polenta, wild mushrooms, cherry confit, balsamic glaze

Bucatini’s visual identity has been brought to life by acclaimed fine artist and award-winning designer Roy Nachum of Mercer Project, known for his work blending artistic expression with cutting-edge hospitality concepts. The restaurant’s interiors feature chic, modern and natural materials, with luxury finishes, soft lighting and organic textures that reflect the warmth and vibrancy of Italian culture. Every element of the space—down to its curated lighting and spatial flow—has been designed to elevate the guest experience. From casual midday meals to intimate evening dinners, celebratory gatherings and corporate events, Bucatini offers a layered hospitality experience, designed to appeal. Bucatini is located at 2 E. 45th St. The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
