Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc.’s Co-Founders, Pamela and Joseph Moshé, were recently honored as the first-ever “CHI Heroes” during Community Housing Innovations, Inc.’s (CHI) 25th Anniversary Gala, held at the Melville Marriott. This newly established award will be given out each year to a person or a group of persons who have directly touched the lives of the people CHI serves.
As active community philanthropists, the Moshés have continually made it their mission to give back to the neighborhoods to which their business extends. In doing so, they spend a considerable amount of time on charitable endeavors, including their support for CHI. Like CHI, Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. is in the business of helping make homeownership a reality for many.
Charles Rutenberg Realty and CHI established a partnership in early 2016 in an effort to provide all Long Islanders with housing options. It is through this relationship that representatives of Charles Rutenberg Realty began presenting at CHI’s First-Time Homebuyer Orientations. Additionally, the company’s Agents began to provide scholarships for the education classes that applicants are required to complete. To make a bigger impact, Pam and Joe established a program in which 15 percent of an Agent’s commissions from sales on behalf of CHI clients are donated back to the organization to fund additional grants.
