Downtown Los Angeles is gaining traction for residential towers, adding to its growing skyline.
In the past week two new skyscrapers have been proposed for 11th and Olive Streets. The lots are currently adjacent parking lots.
The plans propose a 60-story residential tower located on the corner of Olive Street with 713 housing units and a 51-story tower with 536 housing units. Los Angeles, unlike New York, isn’t known for its high-rise residential buildings. However, this may change in the future as more millenials seek high-end luxury in the city.
