63 Wall Street has transformed into a unique rental building with brand new amenity spaces designed by interior design firm, The Design High.
The building, which used to be the headquarters for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, dating back to the 1920s, just underwent a complete re-design of its residences and amenities, which include a grand lounge, rooftop terrace, fitness center with programming, a library, game room with a virtual golf simulator, a children’s playroom, and more.
One of the most unique amenity spaces is the dramatic speakeasy that transports residents and guests back to the Great Gatsby era with original chandeliers and wood paneling complete with moody velvet seating, jewel tones, a green marble fireplace, and a stylized brass and marble bar. A rarity to find a rental building with a speakeasy bar (possibly the only in NYC), this hidden gem is discretely located off of the all-white, trendy grand lounge—creating a contrast of dark and light.
Providing a spacious living experience in the Financial District, the residences, a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, range in size from 405 to 705 square feet.
