On July 26, California’s subterranean mansion, a 51,000-square-foot mansion that is mostly underground, will go to no reserve auction.
The mansion, which sits on 7.4 acres, blends into the community of one-story mansions in the gated city of Rolling Hills, CA. However, the mansion boasts a thoughtful underground level that leaves nothing to the imagination.
The nine bedroom, 25 bathroom home features indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts, an elevator system, gym, wine cellar, bocce ball court, Renaissance-inspired chapel, and six car garage. In addition to its high-end amenities, the mansion is outfitted with a geothermal system that reduces 70 percent of the home’s utility costs.
The mansion was previously listed in 2013 at $53 million, but will head to auction later this month. Concierge Auctions is managing the sale.
