Kohler Celebrates the Art of Curation in New Collections Campaign

Kohler has launched a national 360° campaign inspired by its legacy of bathroom collections exhibited in some of the world’s most celebrated cultural institutions, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The campaign showcases the bathroom as a curated work of art, demonstrating how complete Kohler collections of coordinated fixtures and furnishings come together to create spaces worthy of exhibition.

Set against the glamour and spectacle of a prestigious museum gala, the campaign follows stylish guests as they arrive in search of the evening’s most anticipated attraction. Rather than lingering among the museum’s classic artistic masterpieces, guests are drawn to an unexpected display: beautifully composed Kohler bathroom collections presented as the most coveted exhibit in the museum.

Featuring a surprise appearance by actress and Saturday Night Live alum Chloe Fineman and a lively after-hours celebration, the campaign blurs the lines between art and culture reinforcing the idea that exceptional design deserves to be admired. Sophisticated yet playful, it pays homage to Kohler’s heritage of design excellence while delivering the brand’s signature wit and charm. In an alternate version, Fineman is on staff at the museum, polishing the Kohler exhibit when she notices a faucet missing. She races to the stock room and finds the perfect fit—the finishing touch for the collection as a whole.

“We believe the most memorable creative work begins with human imagination, craftsmanship and storytelling,” said Beth Bouck, Kohler VP global brand creative and partnerships. “Created in-house, this campaign was brought to life through exceptional creative talent, filmed on location in Prague, and inspired by Kohler’s enduring passion for design. The result is distinctive, cinematic storytelling that showcases our collections while continuing a long tradition of ambitious, category-defining marketing.”

Like an artist composing an exhibition, each Kohler bathroom collection is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive and enduring expression of design.

Featuring the Kohler x Studio McGee Claude, Memoirs and Brazn collections, the campaign demonstrates how baths, toilets, sinks and faucets can work together to create spaces that are intentional, expressive and complete. The work highlights Kohler’s ability to deliver a cohesive vision across the entire bathroom, rather than asking homeowners and interior designers to select products in isolation. Kohler collections simplify the design process without sacrificing character or personal style.

Throughout Kohler’s 153-year history, the company has viewed the bathroom as an opportunity to help people live gracious, healthy, and sustainable lives through innovation, artistry and design. A defining moment came in 1929, when Kohler’s pioneering all-black bathroom fixtures were featured in a landmark industrial design exhibition at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition elevated the bathroom as a space worthy of artistic consideration and reinforced the belief that fixtures could be appreciated for both their beauty and their function. Nearly a century later, that same perspective continues to inform Kohler’s approach to designing collections.
