The Museum of Jewish Heritage has released the following statement regarding its reopening plans:
We are pleased to announce our plans to safely reopen our doors to the public on September 13 pending approval from New York State and New York City. We are also extending the closing date of the exhibition Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. to May 2, 2021.The Museum will welcome visitors Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM.Our priority is to make your future visits as safe and welcoming as possible. Visitor capacity will be limited, with timed admissions tickets available every half hour. We ask all visitors and staff to wear masks and socially distance. Learn more about our health and safety guidelines and enhanced cleaning procedures here.Admissions tickets will be available on our website once we have approval from New York State and New York City. Sign up here to receive an email when we open our online ticketing.Museum members will have early access to the Museum on September 9 and 10, as well as a special Member Hour each morning that we are open from 10 AM – 11 AM. If you are not already a member, now is a great time to join to access these and other membership benefits.For those of you not able to come to the Museum in person, our expanded virtual offerings will continue.
