Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the number-one real estate brokerage in NYC and number four nationwide, is proud to introduce the Douglas Elliman Mobile App for Consumers and Agents, personalized with names, individual photos and Douglas Elliman company branding. The app, which works with both Apple and Android phones and tablets, is expected to increase both leads and referrals by enhancing the business of Elliman agents and benefiting firm clients.
With this app, Douglas Elliman continues to evolve its application portfolio for agents and their clients. Earlier this year the company released other agent-centric tools for comparative market analysis (CompIT) and (BoardPackager) for condos and co-ops. CompIT provides market insights that allow agents to price properties with greater accuracy. BoardPackager digitizes online board packages, providing process efficiency and reduced paper usage. All of these tools combined reduce the time it takes for the agents to do their work, giving them more time to engage and work with their clients.
“After extensive research, we are now able to deliver a client- and agent-facing, feature-rich app that will enhance the profitability of our agents and brokers,” said Jeff Hummel, chief technology officer for Douglas Elliman. “Not only is the app easy to use, but it is a fun tool, utilizing tracking and ‘gamification,’ which allows agents to see how they are sharing versus their peers.”
Other key features include corporate and agent branding, a unique sharing code to distribute the app to clients and other agents, a “call-to-action” that drives leads to agents, client databases that can be shared, a feature that makes it easy to market the app with social media, signatures, flyers, postcards and mailers. Agents can link to their apps on their LinkedIn profile and add a download URL on their website.
Clients can browse through listings, open houses and more based on their current location. The search results can then be displayed as a list or an interactive map. Results on an iPad can be viewed both as a list and map simultaneously, and on all devices properties can be saved for future viewing or sharing.
“We are truly excited about the technology-driven, entrepreneurial culture we are building at our firm,” said Scott Durkin, COO at Douglas Elliman. “We’re extremely proud to be creating opportunities to help our agents execute their vision for a more streamlined, efficient and effective means of buying and selling real estate.”
