TOWN Residential, New York’s leading luxury services firm, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office on Manhattan’s vibrant West Side at 888 Seventh Avenue. Situated on the second floor of the dynamic Emery Roth & Sons–designed building, the 14,000-square-foot West Side Flagship will serve as the new home for the 75 representatives and associates currently with TOWN Fifth Avenue as well as significantly expand the firm’s West Side footprint, allowing for a growing roster of elite representatives, recognized teams and an International Experience Center.
The suite of light-filled private offices with direct views of Carnegie Hall and brimming Central Park, will be accompanied by an International Experience Center, multiple conference rooms, open workspaces, and two large kitchen areas. As always, a TOWN Square will stand as the office’s most distinctive feature in testament to TOWN’s hallmark culture of collaboration.
Opportune in timing, the new office serves as affirmation of the tremendous shift of excitement now materializing about the West Side as a result of the Hudson Yards development. TOWN New Development is spearheading Circa Central Park, the Upper West Side’s most stunning and iconic new addition designed by FXFowle; the Icon Apartments, a distinctive 43-story tower located at 306 West 48th Street designed by Ismael Leyva Architects as well as upcoming projects in the area, including 520 Fifth Avenue, Cerruzi Properties’s highly anticipated super-tall Midtown luxury tower; and 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story residential redevelopment of the historic Shaare Zedek synagogue.
Serving as managing director will be the widely respected Gary Lacy, known for his energy, innovation, and keen market knowledge. The open-door policy he currently employs at TOWN Fifth Avenue will be replicated in the new environment, where he will remain a driving force. Joining the office will be key members of TOWN Commercial, including Jonathan Butwin and Lori Shabtai.
At 888 Seventh Avenue, TOWN will be joining an office presence that includes Vornado Realty Trust, Pershing Square Capital Management, Lone Star Funds, and respected industry colleagues from The Corcoran Group.
Occupancy for the new office is expected in December 2017 to coincide with the firm’s seventh anniversary.
