Greystone Development Secures TCO For Harlem 125

Greystone Development, a New York-based real estate development company, announced they have secured a temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) for floors 9-12, encompassing 20 additional apartments, at 69 East 125th Street, also known as Harlem 125.

Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, the development comprises two adjoining towers, a boutique seven-story tower along 126th street and a 12-story tower fronting 125th street yielding 75 new residences in total. The new residences range from studios to three-bedroom units, with many offering outdoor space. The interiors and finishes, designed by Lauren Williams of Lauren Jayne Designs, leverage refined industrial materials fused with contemporary elements. The building also features 12 original artworks by celebrated local artist Lance Johnson.

“Harlem 125 is just one important part of Greystone Development’s ever expanding residential portfolio, but it’s a very special one. We aimed to offer a residential product that was missing from this marketplace; one with thoughtful amenities, modern touches and homes that celebrate the community, and I feel we’ve successfully delivered exactly that,” said Jeffrey Simpson, Head of Greystone Development.

Dave Maundrell and his team at Citi Habitats New Developments are the exclusive leasing agents for the property. Rental prices for available units start at $2,154. The project is over 70 percent leased and is currently offering one month free and a $500 American Express gift card for leases signed before the end of October. The building includes numerous amenities, such as a furnished rooftop terrace and courtyard, virtual doorman, parking garage, fitness center with outdoor space, bicycle storage, laundry room, resident storage, and security.

Additionally, the property boasts 5,600 square feet of ground floor retail on the bustling 125th Street corridor of Harlem, with 2,250 already leased to the MTA for its new 2nd Avenue subway community information center. This prime location is within close proximity to several public transportation options, green space, highly acclaimed restaurants, retail and several other new developments, including the newly-opened Whole Foods on Lenox Avenue.
