Guests Packed 12 East 88th Street To “Get Into Bed With Frette”

This month, two great standard bearers came together for an exclusive broker event designed to preview the Spring/Summer 2018 Frette Collection at the pre-war condominium’s Champalimaud-designed model residence on Carnegie Hill.

Made in Italy since 1860, Frette has defined luxury as the producers of the finest quality linens in the world. In 1931, Rosario Candela, New York’s most renowned architect, completed another landmark: 12 East 88th Street.

Guests toured the lavish unit, beautifully accessorized throughout with Frette’s fine linens, bath collections, and home furnishings. In addition, they were treated to a demonstration on the art of styling a bed.

Using the theme of “breakfast in bed,” all 60 guests dined on breakfast-inspired hors d’oeuvres including pancakes with honey-glazed fried chicken bites; and attendees entered a raffle for the opportunity to win a set of Frette linens and a custom Frette monogrammed bathrobe.
