Two years after the project was original announced, ODA released its first renderings for the hotel in Crown Heights, Brooklyn,
The property renderings play off of the surrounding area with a lot of greenery in reference to Prospect Park and arches that reference the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Arch at Grand army Plaza.
“In this project we incorporated the same values that we believe are imperative for people to flourish: ample natural light, access to green spaces, and opportunities for connection,” said Eran Chen, the architect for the project.
The minimalist hotel will use natural materials to convey its overall look such as marble pedestals and concrete, in addition to incorporating a pond in its courtyard for a Zen-garden appeal.
Hotel amenities include a publicly-accessible, tiered rooftop terrace, rooftop bar, ground-floor restaurant and attached cafe,
Construction is scheduled for completion the next 18 months.
