Localize, a new AI powered website, has launched in New York City allowing anyone to search any address in the five boroughs and receive a visually stunning, easy-to-understand view of what it’s like to live there today and learn about future changes. Localize is powered by an Insight Engine: Artificial Intelligence (AI) that analyzes thousands of complex data-sets in real-time.
“Home buyers and renters are forced to choose their new home without knowing what life will be like after moving in,” said Steven Kalifowitz, president of Localize. “We all know someone who paid a premium to be near a subway that closed for construction two months later or a friend who thought they were moving to a quiet street, until the first night when trucks rumbled by at 2 a.m. Localize will help all New Yorkers choose their next home without suffering from such problems.”
Localize created AI that reveals the full story of every address in the five boroughs. Built collaboratively between top data scientists and urban planners, Localize began incubating its product in Israel (under the brand name Madlan), where it quickly became the most trusted name in real estate. Today, the company has a team of 100 people in NYC and Tel Aviv.

Early feedback from New Yorkers has demonstrated just how necessary Localize’s service is. A “subscribe” feature was added after New Yorkers consistently asked for updates about all the things changing around their home.
Localize is also partnering with community, local government, and prominent real estate organizations throughout New York City to provide them with services, data, and insights that will benefit their target audiences.
