If you know Los Angeles, you know traffic comes with the territory. But Elon Musk entered the picture with a proposal for a tunnel system that would help transport vehicles quickly and efficiently through the city.
The forward-thinking Boring Company, owned by Musk, proposed a 2.7-mile tunnel that would stretch below Sepulveda Boulevard, from Pico to Washington Boulevard, transporting vehicles up to 150 miles per hour.
With traffic as a continual problem for Los Angelenos, the City Council is looking to expedite Musk’s revolutionary project. The City Council aims to exempt the project from California’s Environmental Quality Act with the fast-tracking.
