An artfully designed midcentury home in Beverly Crest, that was once home to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s grandparents, has officially hit the market, boasting a $6.9 million price tag and coveted 90210 zip code.
Designed by architects Conrad Buff and Donald Hensman, the home was built in 1963, but was later remodeled and expanded in 2006. The sleek Beverly Crest residence, which boasts scenic views, received a merit award from the American Institute of Architects in 1964 after being photographed for its sleek design by Julius Shulman.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home features glass walls and concrete floors throughout, with sliding glass doors to provide easy indoor-outdoor access, and a pergola-shaded rooftop deck.
