WineSociety, a premium wine subscription company that is changing the way Americans purchase and consume wine, announced the addition of Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, to its advisory board.
Well-known for building lifestyle brands based on her next-generation consumer insights along with her innovative marketing and sales acumen, Chris’s tech-forward mindset has been proven to usher brands to the next level in the industry which she serves. Through her newly appointed role, Chris will serve as a strategic advisor in the development and growth of the lifestyle wine company’s mission and business plan, in an effort to build brand awareness and move the wine industry forward in the same ways she has done for real estate.
“Sherry is a 30-year veteran who built real estate’s premier lifestyle brand in an industry that is accelerating with new technologies and strategies reflective of today’s savvy consumers,” said Angela Allison, co-founder and CEO of WineSociety. “I look forward to her insights as, together we disrupt how people buy and enjoy wine.”
With a strong affinity to what consumers have come to expect with products and services, Chris applied her in-depth knowledge and understanding when launching Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in 2008, quickly making it a household name across five countries with now over 12,000 sales professionals. The lifestyle brand is now one of the most dynamic real estate brands offering a full range of services to brokers, sales associates and home buyers and sellers. Chris brings this expertise to WineSociety in an effort to fulfill their mission to become a household name in the wine category, by highlighting premium quality, convenience and affordability for millennials.
“Throughout my career, I have always taken the perspective that industries must evolve to meet demands of consumers and the way they live their best lives,” said Chris. “I believe that innovation comes through technology, insights and the flawless execution in branding. I see all that potential in the way WineSociety has developed their business and strategies for growth. I am proud to become an advisor to a company whose mission is to make their product an experience with every can consumed.”
