BOND New York has announced the hire of Fanny Montalvo as its managing director of the firm’s Chelsea and Union Square offices. She’ll be tasked with managing the offices, which will include managing agents, recruitment of sales talent, and industry compliance adherence.
“Due to our moving to two new, much larger offices, we felt the need to expand our management team with a highly skilled real estate veteran,” says Bruno Ricciotti, co-founder, BOND. “Fanny has earned a top-notch reputation as one of the most skilled sales managers in the industry.”
Montalvo comes to BOND with 14 years of experience in the real estate industry. She was most recently the managing broker of record at Keller Williams NYC (Midtown), managing up to 700 agents for the last four years. Prior, Montalvo was the managing sales director at AC Lawrence Bellmarc Coldwell Banker. She started her career in real estate at Fenwick Keats Realty back in 2005 after being the owner and president of her own successful Executive Search firm which serviced top Wall Street clients in trading floor technology recruitment of senior positions.
Montalvo earned a BS in Political Science from CUNY Baruch College. She is a former MANAR member and HGAR Realtor.
“I was the very first manager to originally open and work out of the Chelsea office in 2006 while a manager at Fenwick Keats before we moved to an east side location,” Montalvo explains. “The BOND family of agents is comprised mostly of agents and managers that I was fortunate to work with and know from my tenure at Bellmarc Coldwell Banker. This firm has been in existence for almost two decades, weathering the storms of a turbulent industry and I am very excited to be granted the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled and reputable management team. This opportunity seemed destined and full circle—a chance to be located at an office I have loved and lamented over relocating from years ago, working with individuals I have the utmost respect for, and assisting the agents in succeeding in their careers.”
Adam Taylor’s, BOND’s former managing director of the aforementioned Chelsea location, will relocate to BOND’s flagship on 810 Seventh Avenue where he will manage 250 agents in the 17,000 square-foot space. BOND is currently interviewing for a manager to head the firm’s four-level Upper East Side location at 324 East 86th Street.
