Jonathan Rose Companies Unveils the Pierrepont

Jonathan Rose Companies, Bedrock Real Estate Partners, JD Capital USA and Nuveen Real Estate have announced the official launch of leasing at The Pierrepont, an exquisitely detailed and wellness-oriented boutique residence in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. Offering 90 high-quality apartment homes, this collection of generously proportioned one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts is situated near outstanding schools, parks, and cultural destinations. In keeping with the developer’s mission to create green communities that are healthier for both residents and their neighborhoods, the project features an environmentally-sustainable design and a wealth of wellness-driven amenities.

“Our goal was to create an intimate sanctuary set within the heart of the exquisite shopping, dining and cultural experiences offered in Brooklyn Heights,” said Jonathan F.P Rose, president of Jonathan Rose Companies. “With a green design that gives residents and neighbors peace of mind regarding their environmental footprint, excellent amenities to support physical and mental wellbeing, and expansive floorplans to increase comfort and ease, The Pierrepont invites residents to enjoy the benefits of Brooklyn Heights in a full-service building. Residents will have access to the neighborhood’s great schools and parks and an alternative to brownstone living.”

Located at 146 Pierrepont Street between Clinton and Court, the building is comprised of two 20-story towers connected by a two-story common area centered around a garden and children’s play area. Many apartment homes offer expansive views of Manhattan, the East River and downtown Brooklyn. The building also features 6,000 square feet of retail space.

Designed by Marvel Architects, the building is a modern interpretation of the historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. Brick facades with rhythm and proportion influenced by classic brownstones are detailed with current distinction. The Pierrepont’s environmentally responsible design is no afterthought as the building will both meet and exceed the standards of Enterprise Green Communities and promote healthy living, resource conservation, and energy efficiency.

“With a great deal of respect for the architecture of the neighborhood, the design reflects the deep-rooted history of Brooklyn Heights,” said Carole Bloom of The Bloomstone Group. “Along with the help of Marvel Architects, we created the perfect balance of blending with the charming pre-war architecture and storied past of the neighborhood and standing out with forward-thinking design.”

Offering comfort and livability, the homes feature expansive windows with superb natural light, generous closets and elegant finishes by acclaimed design firm Fogarty Finger. The kitchens come equipped with environmentally friendly stainless-steel appliances, solid-surface counters with ceramic tile backsplashes and oversized islands. Impressive bathroom details consist of a four-fixture master bath, large walk-in showers, and spacious double vanities. Each unit will include a vented washing machine and dryer, and some units will also feature private outdoor terraces.

Designed with careful attention to wellness, The Pierrepont’s thoughtful collection of amenities include a fitness center, yoga and training room, meditation room, a library for quiet moments, and private Zen garden where residents will have the opportunity to decompress and recharge. The amenity space also features a private dining room, living room, children’s indoor and outdoor play areas and a rooftop terrace perfect for entertaining. A curated art collection of rising American female artists is featured throughout the building.

The Pierrepont is a partnership between Jonathan Rose Companies, Bedrock Real Estate Partners, JD Capital USA and Nuveen Real Estate.

“We were pleased to invest in such a fantastic location,” said Steven Li of JD Capital USA. “Brooklyn Heights is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city, and The Pierrepont will make a great addition.”

Leasing will be handled exclusively by The Bloomstone Group. Move-ins are expected to begin Spring 2019. For more information about the Pierrepont, please visit here.
