La Roche-Posay announces its new role as the Official Skincare Sponsor of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program. This national-level sponsorship marks a deepened commitment to supporting people with cancer and their caregivers, expanding upon years of oncology-focused initiatives across the brand.

As the exclusive National Skincare Sponsor, La Roche-Posay will now extend its support to all 31 Hope Lodge locations across the United States, which offer cancer patients and caregivers a free place to stay while undergoing treatment away from home. Through this collaboration, La Roche-Posay will fund over 5,000 nights of free lodging in 2025, helping to reduce the financial burden of cancer care and providing critical moments of rest and relief for people in treatment and their families.

In addition, guests staying at Hope Lodge communities will receive specially curated skincare kits from La Roche-Posay, featuring products clinically tested for safety during cancer treatments**, including cleansers, moisturizers, and balms that can help manage some treatment-related skin side effects.

“The American Cancer Society is committed to removing the emotional, physical, and financial burdens that many people with cancer must face when they travel away from home for treatment,” said Tamara Fernandez, vice president, Hope Lodge for the American Cancer. “Thanks to the generosity of LaRoche-Posay, Hope Lodge guests can focus on what’s important – getting well and feeling stronger during and after treatment.”

SUPPORTING SKIN THROUGH CANCER

More than 80% of cancer patients experience skin-related side effects during treatment. La Roche-Posay’s dermatologist-tested formulas are specifically designed for sensitive and irritated skin, offering soothing and restorative care that can help people feel more comfortable during cancer treatment.

“La Roche-Posay dedicates itself to enhancing the well-being of individuals facing adverse skin conditions. In line with this commitment, we’re honored to work collaborate with the American Cancer Society as the Official Skincare Sponsor of the Hope Lodge® program to offer support to people with cancer and their caregivers during treatment. Recognizing that skincare guidance is often overlooked during this challenging time, we aim to collaborate with the American Cancer Society and individual Hope Lodge® communities to provide resources and solutions that address the skin-related side effects of cancer treatment, ultimately improving the quality of life for patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.” – Rachelle Mladjenovic, GM, La Roche-Posay, USA

This initiative is a continuation of La Roche-Posay’s longstanding global oncology mission, including its Thermal Dermatology Center in France, where over 7,500 patients per year — nearly half of whom are cancer survivors — receive supportive skin therapy during or after treatment.
